REPEATED MEASURES

Record each condition several times, alternating between them — A, B, A, B. One take each tells you nothing: the instrument moves a little every time, and a single pair of numbers cannot say whether a gap is your voice or that movement. Repeating separates the two. Pair “밥 먹었어.” with “밥 먹었어?” and the only thing left that can differ is intonation. The A/B lists you build here are never stored anywhere — closing the tab clears both conditions. Whether individual readings are recorded is a separate choice, on the line at the top of the page.

READ ALOUD vs FREESTYLE

Record one long passage on the READ ALOUD tab and one freestyle take, and the two get compared here. This is the one contrast on this page that needs no literature at all: same person, same session, same microphone — so whatever separates the two columns is not a baseline you have to trust someone else about. The comparison itself is not stored; closing the tab clears both. Individual readings are a separate choice, on the line at the top.

The pitch tracker on this page, pointed at singing instead of speech. It measures how high and how low you can hold a note — hold, not touch — and turns your top note into the one number a karaoke machine understands: how many times to press the key button. It is a separate page, not a third tab here: the octave correction and phrase splitting that make this page work would wreck that one, since it needs you to sweep two octaves on purpose.

v0 deliberately gives no dialect verdict. The literature can support one claim — whether a speaker rises sharply at the end of a yes/no question — and even that needs a validated baseline this page does not yet have. Until then it only shows you the measurement.
